Still To Surrender???

This is Sai's message for all of us... If you do not understand it, then you are still on your way... li'l patience and faith.. 

  When you said "Yes" to Me

When you said "Yes" to Me you gave up the right to be like everyone else.

That is why you draw experiences to yourself that will  cleanse yourself of that which does not fit who you are.

Over, and over, again, and again until I make you see that the past no longer works.

I challenge you and tempt you every day with your past, so that you may see that the past is ultimate delusion.

When you said "Yes" to Me you gave Me your body, your thoughts, your actions.

When they don't suit the new you, the uncomfortableness is unbearable.

It is so EVERY time until you realise this fully; then and only then will you completely give up desire.

For this is the only way man will learn.

Very seldom does he learn by quiet reminders.

Man's desires and pitfalls are placed there so that I may do my work.

When you give up totally, then the temptations will fade.

I will never give up on you.

Every slip will become harder to bear and less easy to remedy.

You will tire of your foolishness becase I love you and whether or not completely aware of it, you did say "Yes".

Love You Sai

Wondering how we walked so far together... and still walking... Happy Birthday Sai... 85 yrs now... 

When every time I cried inside, you tricked me into feeling way better, after realizing that you cant win me by logic... you would ask me if I was ready to see you, and I would open my eyes wide but still say 'NO'...     I dont miss you so much... but its now that I have realized to the fullest that you were born just like any of us... as a human... with human capabilities... and now I understand what you meant by saying that we are still to realize ourselves as divine...

I would like to share some of Sai's words here:

"If the intellect is dull and derives happiness from sleep, slothfulness and pointing out other’s faults, it characterises Thamasic nature. This nature will make one ignore the knowledge of self throughout one’s life. True education is that which directs and counsels the mind and intellect of man towards earning Sathwic happiness. The scriptures declare “Na Sukath Labhyathe Suhkam”, that by undergoing unhappiness alone can happiness be won. This truth has to be instilled through Vidya (Self-knowledge or education). If you understand the joy of Sathwic happiness, true Vidya will be found to be easy and palatable."

"The awareness of Brahman (God) cannot be won by the accumulation of wealth or even by giving away of riches. Nor can it be achieved by reading texts, rising to power, acquiring degrees and diplomas, or performing scriptural sacrifices and rituals. The body is an anthill, with the mind inside the cavity. The mind has hidden in it, the serpent named Ajnana (ignorance). This serpent cannot be killed by resorting to Kamya Karma (pleasurable activities). Jnana (spiritual wisdom) is the only weapon that can kill the serpent of ignorance. That person alone who has faith can secure this spiritual wisdom."

You forget this simple truth and lament, "so and so is accusing me or causing pain to me or hurting me" and so on. Many a times you tend to fight and hurt others. From today onwards, always help others, never hurt anyone. Follow your conscience, it will help you to manifest noble qualities."

cookistry !!!

I have volunteered to be an assistant to my mum in kitchen... Learning cooking !!! Well first week was difficult... for mum ;)

So what have i learnt so far?

tea, coffee, poha, rice and cutting fruits...

Although i blow up the place some times mum keeps telling me that i am progressing and doing good...

And what can i say about my dad... the very first tea i made tasted like pudding but all that he said was "wow" after which he had the whole cup of it... and my little naughty sisters had to take it to washroom !!!

Well, it sounds encouraging... but what encourages me is the fact that it is so much like 'chemistry'...

--- add this, add that, you get a pale brown mixture with a pleasant odor... well in my case it was not 'pleasant' really... but ya as mum said, i am progressing...

At Mother's Feet

Problems, solutions, hard work, pain, grief, laughter, envy, greed, blessings, smile, anger, possession, self pride, wisdom, happiness, confusions, love, hatred... just everything washed away when i am at my mother's feet. Two minutes of relaxation to me is just closing my eyes and feeling at my mother's feet. Although i say 'mother's feet', it so happens that it starts with imagination of being at her feet but gradually i turn out to be at Lord's feet, step by step, first losing that human bondage, then feeling like air or sometimes light and then not understanding the environment but at the end there is either no capability or desire to understand it... sometimes flying high up in the air and sometimes shining bright white light... For sometime i felt the 'power' of being 'At Mother's Feet' but now i only feel 'love' out of it. It was difficult to grade love higher than power, at least at this part of life when all passions to reach stars were trying to take its shapes but the beautiful warmth of love got its place... just above everything. Hope this feeling refreshes the way of knowing someone, understanding situations and pursuing something.
